WiseGuys Moving began in 2017 in Centennial, Colorado. Its founder, Cory Wise, started it at the age of 26. Cory worked with a simple moving service throughout 4 years in college at UT-Knoxville. This service was one of the first to coin the term "Uber for Movers" and was a wonderful opportunity to use moving as a side hustle to earn an honest, relatively good, income at one's own discretion. This allowed Cory to juggle a full time student’s schedule and other part time jobs, while claiming moves to bring in that extra, high hourly, income. But, there were issues....

The moving industry is highly underrated. It is constantly underestimated and undervalued. Many customers and companies fail to recognize just how many variables can affect the day, and the time/energy it takes to complete a move.

From the sheer size and weight of some of their items and the complexity of the route to and from a truck, to weather conditions and the desired move strategy of the customer (Do they want their movers to stage their house, and assemble their furniture too? And would they prefer a quicker, cheaper strategy over a safer, more expensive one?).

Unfortunately the moving company Cory was working for did not spend enough time worrying about these variables, and they treated their crews as disposable and replaceable. Cory tried to help resolve these issues, but got tired of being ignored. He became exhausted putting up with all of these issues, and thus decided to try it on his own....

And so, in May of 2017 WiseGuys Moving was born.

In five years, WiseGuys has successfully served over 1500 customers and generated over $500,000 in company revenue, with over 70% of it going to hardworking and honest, local people needing additional income. We now have 2 working box trucks, thousands of dollars of equipment, an ever growing online presence, and great partnerships bringing higher quality and available services to our customers.

There's no other service out there that cares more about their movers or devotes the necessary attention to providing a quality service for an affordable/customizable rate every time. There's an obscene number of variables that we have learned to look out for over the years, but the 1st rule is there is no way to account for all of them. So, we make sure we're prepared for them. Whatever the unforeseen circumstance, we seek to provide the right size crew, and bring the right equipment to handle anything thrown our way. Moving can be stressful and complicated.
